Bacterial growth fills the disc after incubation, with the exception of the circular inhibited zone. The strength of the antibiotic determines the zone diameter. Transparent and semi-transparent agar allow light from the base to ascend.
  • The Antibiotic Zone Reader accurately measures the diameter of inhibition zones around antibiotic disks on agar plates. It is essential for determining the efficacy of antibiotics and ensuring precise antimicrobial susceptibility testing in microbiological research and clinical diagnostics.
